Although users still don’t have the new Samsung phone in their hands, after the official announcement we know their technical specifications and thus we can compare them with the newer models of the other tech giant, Apple. The dilemma, Samsung vs Apple, still remains. Regardless, both companies are at the peak of market shares on technology products for many consecutive years. Can the new Samsung phone keep up today?
Certainly Samsung’s new devices are the fastest Android devices that have been released. But are they faster than the iPhone 13 Pro? According to benchmark tests of Samsung’s new processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen , conducted we are able to compare their performance with Apple’s A15 Bionic.
A Galaxy S22 Ultra wearing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 achieved a single-core Geekbench score of 1,232 and a multi-core score of 3,433. It also received a Geekbench ML machine learning score of 448.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max with A15 Bionic achieved a single-core score of 1,735 and 4,647 in the multi-core test. Apple’s mobile phone achieved a Geekbench ML machine learning score of 948.
