Samsung slide-out screen
Samsung received a design patent for the home screen control. It seems to work by increasing the size of your original screen by 50%. This would, thus, make a 6-inch smartphone turn into an 9-inch smartphone. The illustrations from the patent application and announcements show that the hidden screen marches in a bit or in some grooves to open and close. They also don’t appear to show any crimping or separation between the two screens when they are joined. It remains a mystery how the dual pinholes on the front of the screen achieve this feature, of slide-out. You will notice them and how they move with everything you do.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold, a foldable smartphone, was to be released on April 26th. The release delayed four days before shippement to customers. This is now a completely different type from the Samsung handset that has been front and center of most headlines in technology for the past few weeks. Complaints from some reviewers of the Galaxy Fold, who failed to heed warnings in the control unit when they were merely unfolding it. A handful of these individuals started peeling off a protective film from its inner screen as they normally would with a new smartphone. The Samsung Fold’s large screen was unfortunately ruined when it rejected customer device.
Samsung has gone to the extra lengths needed to ensure that you have a safe phone. Just last month, Samsung announced it will be implementing and placing protective films on their products to prevent any hardware from entering the phone. Not only does this protect the contents of your device but also prevents potential harm in an unforeseen accident.
