Small sized smartphones
There’s a lot of talk about which phone is the best smartphone. While some say large screen sizes are better, others think that small screens are useful and allow for more functionality. One example is the Palm, which will be entering the US and be sold as a complementary product to your main smartphone.
The Palm has a 3.3-inch, 445 PPI LCD screen with Android 8.1 installed. The phone’s “body” is of aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3, the processor is Snapdragon 435, and it has 3GB of RAM. It is not intended to be used as a stand-alone. Verizon released the product which uses the NumberShare service to sync with the main device and its number, although it provides “normal” smartphone functions (apps, camera, voice assistant). With an 800mAh battery and two cameras, it will launch in November at $349.
NTT Docomo recently announced their new credit card-sized Card Keitai KY-01L phone. This credit card-sized phone claims to be the thinnest and lightest ever made, with 5.3 mm of thickness and 4.7 grams of weight. It has LTE and 4G connectivity, but is without a camera or store for apps. The device has an e-paper screen similar to e-readers.
Docomo will also release it in November, priced at 32,000 yen ($280). How did you find these Small sized smartphones?
