The leak is in line with the claims of Ming Chi Kuo, who had claimed that the two larger devices will come with 3GB of RAM. The smaller 4.7-inch iPhone will still have 2GB of RAM, like most of the company’s previous models.
Kuo said that the DRAM in the three new models will be much faster than that of the iPhone 7 by 10% to 15%. This is a strong indication of how well AR apps are going to work on this phone.
iPhone 7 Plus has 3GB of RAM and is compatible with the dual-lens camera. On the other hand, iPhone 7 is also 2GB but does not have the capacity to support a camera.
