Accelerate Greece | Business acceleration program that supports Greek companies
Out of 50 submissions, the comittee selected three companies to participate in the business acceleration program “Accelerate Greece“. The international non-governmental organization and ErgoCapital decided to host the program in Irvine, Los Angeles for the first time. The Hellenic Initiative aims to support Greek companies in their foreign markets even when they’re based here in Greece. It helps them show their extroversion and be globally competitive.
The Greek companies were evaluated by a committee, which included senior executives of global technology companies in California. They selected the three after a rigorous evaluation based on their capabilities and solutions. The executives of the companies had the opportunity to present their work, their activities and the services they offer. Hundreds of investors, representatives of the world’s leading companies, and journalists attended this event.
The three companies have already succeeded in becoming the subject of discussion for a week in the field of investment and technology, and in creating the right conditions and contacts to develop direct cooperations with US companies. Business giants and innovative funds showed direct interest not only to use their services but also to invest the necessary capital for which you can achieve penetration in the demanding American market.
“This year we were able to help three very worthy Greek companies show what they are worth to the right audience and they really impressed. We provided them with the tools they needed and the knowledge required to be more prepared for the challenges of the international market. I am very proud that Accelerate Greece can help support Greek companies and that every year we can help even more” said Peter Polydor, a Greek-Canadian, the initiator of “Accelerate Greece” who together with The Hellenic Initiative organized this year’s initiative.
The three companies that excelled in “Accelerate Greece”:
