UMIDIGI S3 Pro
UMIDIGI is creating a new trend in the smartphone industry. The company revealed today at MWC 2019 the UMIDIGI S3 Pro, with a ceramic design and 48MP IMX586 camera. The company just released an amazing demo video of the phone to show off these features that might change the way you think about phones in general.
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro has a 60Hz refresh rate and the eye-catching ceramic back-side that we’ve seen on other phones like the MI Mix and Galaxy S10 Plus series. It’s made out of metal with a glossy finish, boasts a 6.3″ FHD+ screen and features a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Ceramic components are increasingly used in a variety of applications, including phones. It offers impressive properties like heat resistance and great signal reception. In addition, it retains the 3.5mm headphone jack which is often missing from newer phones.
The S3 Pro’s main camera is a Sony IMX586 sensor, the same as the Mi 9 and Honor View 20. It has a 48-megapixel large 1/2-inch image sensor, F/1.7 aperture and 4-in-1 1.6 µm super pixel. The UMidigi S3 Pro has a 48MP camera mounted on its back, able to pair with the main camera. It’s capable of producing superb-quality photos.
Processor
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro has a powerful AI Helio P70 SoC with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It can run heavy games such as PUBG with minimal performance degradation. S3 Pro has a huge battery with support for fast charging plus Android 9 Pie out of the box.
After the UMIDIGI S3 Pro’s release, the model is now available on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. The price is affordable with a discounted amount of US$269. The official launch will be on March 18.
