Who runs the blockchain?

Who runs the blockchain technology?

Blockchain technology is a new space operating as a collaborative enterprise or as something like community from below. Hoskins, co-founder of the Ethereum and Cardano cryptocurrency networks, emphasizes the importance of blockchain technology.

With the “lack of leaders,” we are facing a trend for business and government. One feature: businesses and governments need leaders who can innovate, see new possibilities, and lead.

The techno-enthusiast on a TV show expressed strong concerns about the use of AI. The new model presents new challenges. “We’re really facing a cybersecurity crisis,” said Hoskinson, who is also the chief executive of IOHK, a Hong Kong-based blockchain consultancy.

“This is the first time we’ve flirted with the idea of a company without a CEO and a country without a president. It’s a huge challenge and something that I think will occupy the cryptocurrency space for most of the 21st century,” he said.

Josh has continued to bash his old friends such as Vitalik who worked with him on Ethereum.

Lone Samurai

He openly turned against the stereotype of the “lone samurai”, where many modern “brilliant founders” lead a small team of software engineers. Doing this allows them to innovate and solve big problems, nothing like that achieved in history by lone samurai.

On the contrary, he believes in cooperation and problem solving over conflict.

That’s correct, but this will be changing in the future due to blockchain standards.

Recently, there’s been a lot of debate surrounding the various factors that are involved in the success of blockchain. Experts and opinion leaders are debating on how suitable blockchain technology is for businesses in different industries. The more and more people listen to their opinions, however, the stronger reformers pushing for a ‘new’ future will become.

Lane Reting, developer of Ethereum, in mid-March prefaced his talk at the Ethereum conference on how Ethereum “will change the world, how nation states are dying and how the topologies of social and economic networks are changing.”

A month later, he proclaimed that “Ethereum governance has failed. We are a de facto technocracy, in which a small group of technocrats, the narrow-core developers, have the final say.”

Indeed, the issue of blockchain governance looks like it will be a long-standing concern for the blockchain community and the academic digital humanities community for some time to come.
