Xperia XZ2
Sony announced their newest devices at the Mobile World Congress 2018 this past week. The leaks for both devices have been extremely accurate when it comes to their design but unfortunately weren’t very specific about other specs.. The devices are very similar in size which is the only thing that has changed from previous leaks.
Xperia XZ2 features a 5.7 inch FHD+ resolution display with HDR capabilities as well as an 18:9 resolution. The Compact still has a 5-inch screen and it also has an HDR and 18:9 ratio, just like its big brother.
Both phone models have Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and Android 8.0 Oreo. The rear camera is 19MP with a 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX400 sensor and f/2.0 – at 1080p this time – has super slow motion capture capabilities and can record 4K video as well as 1080p. The front is 5MP and both feature IP68 certification. The back has a fingerprint sensor.
The Xperia XZ2 has a big battery which provides longer lasting use. There is also stereo speakers with 20% louder noise than the Xperia XZ1. The phone does not have a headphone jack, but instead has wireless charging for convenience.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact are now available for pre-order. Each has a new color option – Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Ash Pink. These devices will be available on March 2nd at an unknown price.
