Sony has announced the release of its Xperia Touch. It is a projector that allows for any surface to be transformed into an interactive touchscreen. It showcases apps and games on the screen, making for an interesting and fun way to interact with your content.
Sony has recently released its Xperia Touch, developed as a project all of Sony’s new technologies. This device is available in the US market and comes at a price of $1700, which is considerably higher than what Sony mentioned during recent shows where their other projectors were also a dominant product in their IoT lineup. With a small and portable form factor, the device can run on batteries and can provide approximately 1 hour of battery autonomy. The LiNX Intrinsically Safe digital camera uses a combination of IR lights and an integrated camera, to detect motion at 60 frames per second. The response is instantaneous, as if we were handling a large-screen smartphone.
This projector provides up to 8 hours of battery life and has a resolution of 1366 x 768. It still has a 13MP camera, speakers, and Google Assistant voice control.
