Process for upgrades to Android
The issue of Android operating system upgrades is an important one for every user. Most people don’t know when and if we will receive the next upgrade. Nokia is a trustworthy company that doesn’t take advantage of their consumers. It is worth remembering that apart from the quick upgrades thanks to Android One, it is in third place of the list of most Android upgrades in devices.
Now, HMD has posted on their website the process required to update their devices. Different companies have different upgrade processes and often follow different paths. For Nokia, one of the first things that must happen is downloading the code from Google and integrating it with some special features found only on Nokia phones. This is followed by the chip manufacturer’s version of each chip to make the software and hardware run smoothly. Before the product releases, it goes through extensive testing with regards to networking, web browsing, SMS, video streaming and more. Tests follow on beta testers and then it reaches the consumers.
