A futuristic amusement park | The Oriental Science Fiction Valley in China
A newly-opened scenic amusement park in Guizhou, China, called Oriental Science Fiction Valley (OSFV), has a total of 35 attractions. Almost all of them are related to science fiction themes. The biggest draw at this amusement park is that it’s guests will be wearing VR headsets almost the entire time they are there.
Another interesting sight that makes this amusement park special is the scattered robot statues that are present as part of a futuristic setup. There appears to be a large robot with its own bungee-jumping platform on it that hulks at 53 meters in height. The Transformer-like robot is actually the centerpiece of the theme park as well. It is also the second tallest one at OSFV.
The virtual and augmented reality attractions enable guests battle against aliens, explore planets and discover space. Recently the founder of the amusement park, Shi Xiangdong made a reference on the mission of the extraterrestial OSFV. The goal is to inspire people make dream in science and technology, because everything is possible.
