
Acer recently unveiled their educational tablet, the Chromebook Tab 10, which supports the Chrome OS. They are also ready to release a new mini desktop computer called the Acer Chromebox CXI3.
The Chromebox CXI3 is on pre-order and will release in April. It has a small size that can literally fit behind the screen.
The mini desktop is intended for the education sector but can also be used in other sectors. Its cost starts low. There are several versions of the product, with the most affordable one using an Intel Celeron 3865U processor and the most expensive one incorporating an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 8550U.
The following models will be released depending on the processing power:
– Celeron: $279
– Intel Core i3: $469
– Core i5: $511
– Core i7: $744
Users can choose between 4GB and 16GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage.
The new model comes packed with two USB 2.1 ports, three USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C port each, HDMI and Ethernet. It will come with a combo audio jack for speakers and headphones, as well as microSD card.
