It’s now official. Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development as announced by its creators from Rockstar Games, the company owning this well-known series, GTA. Of course, at this stage of the game there is no material ready for publication so we don’t expect a release in the near future. On a Community Update the creators thanked the audience acknowledging the growing interest in the last few years. Entering the third console generation, they promised many upcoming good things in the near future as well.
The good news is that the long wait of the fanatical fans of one of the most beloved games is slowly coming to an end. To recall that the first GTA came out in 1997 and was initially only supported by the then-new PS1. As well as Windows and MS-DOS computers, while the latest GTA V came out almost 10 years ago and was compatible with PS3, Xbox 360 as well as Windows computers. Let’s not forget that at the moment Grand Theft Auto 5 is pending for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles. Our decade long excitement remains intact. We are expecting many great things from Rockstar Games once again.
