
IBM: top in US patents for 28th year
9,130 US patents were won by the company’s scientific and research staff this year, more than any other company for the 28th consecutive year.
IBM’s patents cover a wide range of technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. In addition to the sheer number of patents, IBM also received several patents for ground-breaking innovations.
