Innovative program Prometheus | European project with strong greek participation
With the aim of boosting innovation in Greece, a new programme is debuting to train Greek researchers in technology transfer. The non-profit organization Science For You-SciFY supports this, in collaboration with the US research organization SRI International, Demokritos and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), with the support of the US Embassy in Athens.
It runs from 13 to 21 April where researchers will be able to turn their research project or idea into products and services.
As is well known, most Greek PhDs are not linked to innovation. Most follow academic careers and companies don’t associate with PhD programmes. This programme, therefore, comes to connect research with the market.
The programme includes technology transfer workshops, artificial intelligence seminars, online training materials and mentoring by experienced and internationally renowned mentors.

Additionally, browse through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) website for more funded projects here, https://eit-hei.eu/projects/prometheus/ . We are so excited of this initiative, but also of the streong greek participation.
