
Rumours about Microsoft withdrawing from laptop manufacturing have been refuted today. The company unveiled the new Microsoft Surface Book 2 for release in two sizes, 13.5″ and 15″.
We have 2 different types of LCD screens for the Chromebook. The smaller version is 13.5 inches with a PixelSense touch screen. It offers 3000 x 2000 (267ppi) resolution and stylus support. The larger model is 15 inches and offers the 3:2 aspect ratio on a 3240 x 2160 resolution. The new and improved Surface Go is available with a choice of Intel Core i5-7300U or Intel Core i7-8650U processors. Those with Intel Core i7 will have the option for an Nvidia GeForce graphics card (GTX 1050 with 2GB VRAM for the 13.5″ and GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM for the 15″).
With options for 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR3 1866MHz RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSD storage, this phone is perfect for any user. Furthermore, they include front-facing stereo speakers, dual microphone, brightness sensor, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera with support for Windows Hello for facial recognition unlocking, WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 antennas, 2x USB 3.1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.1 Type-C, 3.5mm and SDXC card reader slots.
The operating system is Windows 10 Pro and the battery life is 17 hours for video watching. Its aluminum construction has a weight of 1.53 kg (13%) and 1.90 kg (15%).
They’re available on November 16th in the US and priced at $1499 for the 13.5″ and $2499 for the 15″.
