
Mobile Telephony Fee waiver for young people
From 10/01/2022, young people aged 15-29 years old have the right of exemption from mobile and prepaid telephony fees, as the Ministry of Digital Governance in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance implemented the mobilefees.gov.gr platform.
In order to complete the process, the user needs the beneficiary’s AMKA number, mobile phone number and the provider to which the phone number belong.ย The user logs into the platform with taxisnet codes of either the beneficiary or his/her guardian if he/she is a minor.
The possibility to register in the Registry will be given gradually, starting from Monday 10 January 2022, based on the final digit of the applicant’s VAT number, as follows:
– 10 January 2022: activation of a TIN with a final digit of 0
– 11 January 2022: activation of a TIN with a final digit of 1
– 12 January 2022: activation of a TIN with end digit 2
– 13 January 2022: activation of TIN with end digit 3
– 14 January 2022: activation of TIN with end digit 4
– 15 January 2022: activation of TIN with end digit 5
– 16 January 2022: activation of TIN with end digit 6
– 17 January 2022: activation of TIN with end digit 7
– 18 January 2022: activation of TIN with final digit 8
– 19 January 2022: activation of a TIN with a final digit 9.
In case someone does not have taxisnet codes, he/she can submit the application at the KEPs from 20 January 2022.
