Like every year, Samsung has announced in the first quarter of the new year the new Galaxy S series models. The new Samsung phones will be the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra which share the same Exynos 2200 processor and differ from each other mainly in screen dimensions, battery capacity and memory.
RAM and Camera Specs
The S22 and S22+ come with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage while the Galaxy S22 Ultra has another version with 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The camera of the first two models has a 50 Megapixels high resolution sensor while the front camera has a resolution of 10 Megapixels as does their telephoto lens that supports up to x3 focus. The S22 Ultra on the other hand goes a step further with the main camera having a 108 Megapixels resolution sensor while the selfie camera has 40 Megapixels and a 10x telephoto lens. All models however feature the Auto framing feature that detects and focuses on up to 10 people providing high definition.
Screen and battery
In terms of screen diagonal smallest of all is the S22 with 6.1”, second comes the S22+ with 6.6” while slightly larger is the S22 Ultra with 6.8” diagonal. In terms of battery the S22 is smaller than the rest with 3700 mAh battery as against 4500 mAh and 5000 mAh incorporated in the S22+ and S22 Ultra respectively.
It is expected to be available in the market from late February to early March while prices will range between 900-1500€ as other Samsung Galaxy phones of the series.
The new Samsung phones will bring many improvements regarding features as the camera and resolution and many more.
