The new Playstation 5 updates
As announced by Sony, manufacturer of Playstation gaming console series, we will soon have updates that will not only affect the PS5, nor the PS4.
Most notable of all is voice command support for the PS5, a feature that made its debut in 2013 on the PS4. Beta participants in the US and UK, can already enable it and create new games or find existing ones through this feature. Access to the beta will be available from specific regions. In addition to the US and UK, users from Canada, Japan, Germany and France will also be able to access it. Activation is by voice command “Hey Playstation”.
In addition, the group chat feature is also being updated, which will now be called “Parties” and can be either private or public. In private, the user will be able to invite only their friends for chat and games while in public, the user will be visible to other players.
Another update for both consoles is the filtering of games by genre so that the user can easily find games from the genres they prefer and will also be able to scroll through them on their home screen.
We expect updates next month and will be available to all users for download. To gather more information on the gaming console, you can visit Sony’s official website, https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ps5/.
