The Xerox 820 features a Zilog Z80A processor at 2.5 MHz and memory of 64kB. Equipped with a floppy disk of 5.25” and an HDD of 160MB it ran with the operating system of AmigaOS version. On the matter of compatibility, the 820 is compatible with all Big Board software.
Xerox corporation held a dominant position, since foundation, in the photocopier division market. Throughout the years, great improvements marked in quality, design and reliability of product lines. Great hits followed during the 1980s gaining a fine 20% market share, at the expense of IBM mostly. At this time, the company introduced to the world color copiers and soon after the digital laser printers with integrated scanners.
