Just as rumored, earlier this month, Apple announced the release of another iPad Air, the first Air model to carry the M1 processor. Its characteristics will be very similar to the iPad Pro, only with a difference in price. For some users, the specs seem very similar of the two models, making the Pro version just overpriced.
This is the 5th generation iPad Air that will also feature a version with 5G connectivity and with improved USB-C transfer speed. Like the fourth-generation iPad Air Apple, there will be 4 versions:
- 64GB, Wi-Fi
- 256GB, Wi-Fi
- 64GB, Wi-Fi & Cellular
- 256GB, Wi-Fi & Cellular
It may look a lot like its predecessor in appearance, but it’s definitely faster and comes in new colors. Space grey, rose gold, light blue, gold and purple. The product now running with the M1 chip will, reportedly, meet the needs of both creative and productive users of the midrange tablet.
In the designing process, the way the previous generation model of the iPad Air was welcomed by users was observed. The M1, respectively, will bring a “massive leap” in performance to the midrange device.
