Google Assistant | New technology features
The Google Assistant is embedded in around one billion devices worldwide, Google announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
Nearly every country uses Google Assistant. It competes against Alexa, Siri, and Cortana in the industry and is also used internationally. There are many ways to get your Google Assistant including Android phones. Also included are the Google Home Hub and “smart” speakers like Google Home. You can also get it in some text-based phones, headphones and watches.
Google Assistant has increased its reach by four-fold in a year, and it’s available on more than 30 languages worldwide. This is because people are increasingly turning to digital assistants that they can use at their convenience.
Google Assistant is now integrated into Google Maps for both Android and iOS. It’s possible to use this assistant with SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Hangouts, Viber, Telegram and Android Messages. On Tuesday, the company at CES revealed new Assistant features that are useful for people in the workplace and on business trips. The latest version is able to act as an interpreter of dozens of languages, providing real-time voice and written translation, this helps any user who is traveling to a foreign country and need help navigating or conducting business. Soon you will be able to use it to check-in for your flight and get your boarding pass. The company is also working with hotel chains and travel agencies (Choice, AccorHotels, InterContinental, Expedia, Travelclick, etc.) so that the user can book a room via the Assistant.
